Founded on MapleStory back in 2004 was similar to entering a different world, one full of magical, community, and also ridiculously cute child-like avatars. There are dozens of games offering a similar, and often better, encounter. From 2009, MapleStory had reached an incredible 92 million gamers. A percent of these players were below the age of 18, and several of them grew out of the match over time.

These days, a cult following of 14 million gamers remains, also Nexon, MapleStory's parent firm, has neglected to lure new recruits and retain them. However, help the game stay profitable and can spend money. The vast majority (70.3 percent) of their consumer base is currently aged 18 through 30, meaning a lot of them today have jobs and can fund their personalities' trendy clothes, gear, and battle art through buying prepaid cash cards or swiping their credit cards, which is exactly what I did to get a spell.

The problem is that while South Korea obtained MapleStory 2 back in 2015, it hasn't yet come into the US market. The release could be waning, but these 2 matches hold the promise of having an franchise.

Nexon America President Jungsoo Lee informs The Verge in an email interview that the long delay for MapleStory 2 coming into the US marketplace was due to the time involved in"testing and localizing the match by means of a series of closed betas for every region." It might appear strange for such an old game to obtain this sort of attention from a massive firm like Nexon, however, Lee says that his company knows"the power of enjoying the long game." MapleStory 2's closed beta began May 9th, however there's not official launch date yet for it or MapleStory M.

As the original MapleStory aged, its daily active users were overtaken by cheaters and spammers. If you stroll in the city called Henesys where many personalities stand idly while their real-life counterparts get up to get a stroll or to find a drink, or into the Free Market where individuals trade, you are going to find that spam takes up nearly all of the general conversation, and it is difficult to get a word in edgewise. When searching bosses that drop rare items, you might find cheaters running third party programs to automatically take the items before you are able to reach them. Both these unpleasant happenings, which grew more prevalent since the game got old, contributed to MapleStory's steady decrease.
