I will see what you are getting at, but don't give up on guilds yet. Notably in guilds where you raid together regularly I discovered that friendships develop. These are obviously the guilds you will need to search for yourself, rather than being auto-invited. But yeah, out of guilds like such it can be tough to find WOW players that give you another thought when you are not helpful to them.
Person as a player I dont know how people may love WOW Classic. I got a sub to play with a friend that doesnt play games far. We'd enjoy 20 dungeons so far and he was kicked two times and one time someone attempted to kick the healer for"healer clueless"(luckly for him, me and my friend voted no and that he didnt get kicked, we finished the dungeon with no wipes).they dont say what it is you're doing wrong, they dont say anything, they just vote kick imediatly.
The part about this is that people kicked are punished with a deserter penalty as well. So aside from the 7-8 minutes wasted on the other dungeon with queue(and some time in dungeon doe they generally kick after first boss or before) you receive a 10 minutes punishment too.
